  • SUMMARY OF RLM RESPONSIBILITIES

    Widenhouse

    • Recruitment and advising/accountability of RHA student group 
    • Supervising/accountability of RA hosted What Up Wednesday events
      • Reviewing and approving program planners
      • Reviewing evaluations and providing feedback to RAs in large learning settings 
      • Ensure purchasing plans are appropriate and followed through  
      • Ensure marketing plans are at a minimum
        • Social media post (3 days before event) - RAs should work with Lily on creating post and providing to Shaydean for official posting 
        • Door tags (3 days before event) on all campus resident doors both sides of campus
        • Posters on all residence hall bulletin boards (5 days before event)
        • Creating and posting large bulletin board in Annex (5 days before event)
      • Ensure all RAs are in attendance at all What up Wednesday events
    • Creating and hosting community events 2 per semester (Jorgenson)
    • Supervising/accountability of Residence Life large campus events (monthly)
      • Reviewing and approving program planners
      • Reviewing evaluations and providing feedback to RAs in large learning settings

    Rimview 

    • Night Monitor supervision 
      • Recruit, hire, train, follow up and evaluate Night Monitors
      • Set NM schedule and ensure up to date each week on the shared calendar
      • Find alternate staffing if NM vacant shifts exit
      • Ensure NM logs are completed for each shift and timely
      • Ensure office and NM desk are properly stocked (spare key check out binder, pens, etc) and cleaned daily
    • 10 office hours per week (5 in DLR/5 in hall)

    Jorgenson 

    • Weekly key inventories (all 3 boxes); check all 4 drop boxes before doing inventory
    • Weekly PIKI/Roster Audits 
    • Weekly empty room inspections including empty Rimview bedrooms (all residence halls) 
    • Weekly common area furniture inventories (all residence halls)
    • Bulletin board inspections and RA accountability (all residence halls)
    • Facility checks & GOTCHA (Jorgenson & Rimview)
    • Mid-semester/year room checkouts (check roster and complete weekly)
    • Social media postings created and provided to DLR
    • Monthly residence life newsletter (Ready for distribution by the 10th of each month September - April; NO DECEMBER)
    • SCMT supervision
      • Recruit, hire, train, follow up and evaluate SCMTs
      • Set SCMT schedule and ensure up to date each week on the shared calendar
      • Find alternate staffing if SMCT vacant shifts exit
      • Ensure SCMT logs are completed for each shift and timely
      • Ensure SCMT closets are organized and properly stocked weekly
    • 10 office hours per week (5 in DLR/5 in hall)

    ALL RLMS

    • Collateral assignment (listed above)
    • On-call rotation including academic breaks
    • Desk shifts when vacant (if not able to picked up by RAs) 
    • 10 office hours per week (5 DLR, 5 hall; all DRL during winter and summer breaks while contract is in session)
    • Weekly report
