TEAM G.USA
Team Fee Agreement 2016-2017
Compulsory Team Level 1-2
Team G.USA is a for-profit company designed to facilitate all of Gymnastics USA’s competitive needs. Although owned by Gymnastics USA, it is a separate company from Gymnastics USA. Gymnastics USA facilitates the training, we facilitate the competition.
All athletes on GYMNASTICS USA competitive teams are required to pay Team Fees. Team Fees are used to cover expenses that support the teams which are not covered by GYMNASTICS USA tuition, including (but not limited to) meet and USAG registration, coach cost/expenses at meets, and team.
Communication is conducted primarily by email. Please make sure GYMNASTICS USA has your correct email address and that you add operations@teamgusa.us to your safe senders list.
All questions related to the financial side of your child’s competition season (not competition training, which is through GYMNASTICS USA) should be fielded through that e-mail address.
You must be aware of the third entity (company) that exists to complete the competitive team program triad, G.CLUB USA. G.CLUB USA is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 company that has been established to raise funds to help offset the financial burden of being a competitive gymnast at a GYMNASTICS USA. G.CLUB USA is ran by you, the parents, and is a traditional style booster club. The true tax-write off status (501(c)3 enables G.CLUB USA to raise large sums of money to benefit all the gymnasts it serves. To receive benefits from this you must become a member, more information can be found at www.gclubusa.us.
Be sure to always check The Team Parent Wall at the gym, your Team Parent Mailbox at the gym, and the online Team Parent Portal for meet information and other information posted by GYMNASTICS USA, TEAM G.USA, or G.CLUB USA). Items will be placed in all these mediums for your convenience.
Meets/Expectations:
- The Coaches will select the meets and determine which athletes are ready to compete.
- Gymnasts who owe GYMNASTICS USA past due tuition may not be allowed to compete.
- Attendance at meets is mandatory. All competing athletes will be entered into each meet they qualify for.
- If coaches select additional meets, fees to cover the cost of these meets will be assessed in addition to the fees included in this agreement.
- Team members are required to purchase/wear team competition apparel (apparel, warm up, team bag).
REFUND DEADLINE: Friday, August 5th, 2016.
If your gymnast quits the team, you must notify TEAM G.USA (and receive a response) by August 5th, 2016 in order to receive a refund of any Team Fees paid (less any expenses, such as USAG registration, credit card processing fees, returned check charges, etc.). If your tuition account at GYMNASTICS USA is not paid, funds will first be applied to past due GYMNASTICS USA tuition and a check will be issued to the parent/guardian for the remainder. TEAM G.USA will not issue refunds to 3rd parties. GYMNASTICS USA (but not TEAM G.USA) requires 30 day notice. Please check with the front desk and fill out the proper form online, if your gymnast will be leaving GYMNASTICS USA. If your gymnast leaves the Compulsory team after August 5, 2016, your Team Fees will not be refunded.
Parents are responsible for paying the following:
- GYMNASTICS USA tuition and annual GYMNASTICS USA registration fee.
- Competition bags and apparel costs (Payable to TEAM G.USA).
- Spectator admission to meets.
- Personal travel/hotel expenses to meets.

TEAM G.USA reserves the right to request additional Team Fees if events beyond the control of TEAM G.USA result in higher than expected meet expenses. This may include (but is not limited to): coaches adding meets to schedule, significant unexpected increases in meet costs, decrease in size of team, etc. If additional payment is not received by due date, gymnast will not be registered or be allowed to compete in meets until payment is made.
