Music City Strings

Small group sessions Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, 4:30-5:15 (Level 1 students) and 5:15-6:00 (Level 2 students), at the Public Library of New London, 63 Huntington St., New London. Students will be grouped by ability/prior experience.
Music City Strings offers free string instrument lessons at the Public Library of New London.

The 2025 fall session begins on September 17 and runs through December 11. Lessons resume in January after the new year.

The program is open to existing students and students in grades 3 and up.

Lessons take place in small groups on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, with groups determined by ability and prior experience.

Instruments and materials are provided for student use at no cost. Students can take instruments home for practice if parents sign an agreement taking responsibility for the instruments.

Please do not sign up unless parent/guardian and child agree to maintain regular attendance.

Lessons are taught by an experienced professional music teacher. Space is limited. If you are interested, please fill out the form below completely.

ACCEPTANCE IN THE PROGRAM REQUIRES SIGN UP AND CONFIMATION OF CONTACT INFORMATION. PLEASE REPLY TO EMAILS TO ENSURE YOUR CHILD DOES NOT LOSE A SPOT IN THE PROGRAM.
