1. Exhibition Tour of Photoville
Led by professional artists and curators, students will view and discuss a diverse group of photography exhibitions, ranging in style and subject matter. Students will explore the artists’ process and discuss strategies for visual storytelling.
2. Youth Photographers Seminar
Young people from local photography programs will give short presentations on their work, so that the students attending Photoville can see, and hear, how their peers became interested in photography, learn about their goals, and plan to persue photography.
3. Photography and Storytelling Lesson Plans
Teachers attending the Photoville education program will receive a lesson plan to bring back for classroom use.
