The Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors invites nominations recognizing excellence in the following categories:
2026 Business of the Year
This award recognizes a business that has made a genuine contribution to enhance the quality of the business community in Simi Valley.
Qualifications:
- Business must be a member in good standing of the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce, located in Simi Valley, and be an active participant in the community
- Business cannot be owned/operated by a member of the 2026 Chamber Board or a Chamber Staff Member
2026 Businessperson of the Year
This award recognizes a businessperson who has made a genuine contribution to enhance the quality of the business community in Simi Valley.
Qualifications:
- Businessperson must be employed by or own a business in Simi Valley
- Be a member in good standing of the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce
- Be an active participant in the community
- Cannot be a member of the 2026 Chamber Board or a Chamber Staff Member
2026 Non-Profit Organization of the Year
This award recognizes an active non-profit organization in the community that has made a genuine contribution to better the lives of others in Simi Valley.
Qualifications:
- Must be a registered 501(c)(3) located in Simi Valley
- Must be a member in good standing with the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce
- The organization’s Owner or Employee cannot be a current member of the Chamber Board of Directors
- A Chamber Board Member may serve on the organization’s Board, but must recuse themselves from voting in this category
2026 Community Volunteer of the Year
This award recognizes an individual who has gone above and beyond and has left a lasting positive impact on a person, group, or the community at large.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a resident of Simi Valley who volunteers his/her time locally
- Cannot be a member of the 2026 Chamber Board or a Chamber Staff Member
2026 Emerging Leader of the Year
This award recognizes and celebrates a young professional who has positively contributed to the Simi Valley community through their business or service involvement.
Qualifications:
- Emerging Leader must be between the ages of 21-40
- Be involved in the Emerging Leaders program or the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce
- Must contribute to the betterment of Simi Valley through their service or business activities and achievements
- Cannot be a member of the 2026 Chamber Board, Staff, or Emerging Leaders committee
