    Instructor Internship Program Application

    Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of the Instructor Internship Program!

    The CPR Hero's Instructor Internship Program gives pre-medical & pre-health students the opportunity to share their knowledge with a wide variety of people. Program participants get to work alongside nurses, paramedics, and EMS personnel in the classroom & group training setting. Program participants will receive training to assist in CPR, First Aid, & Basic Life Support classes. Participants will have the opportunity to teach others how to assess situations, how to perform CPR, how to use an AED, and more.

    We are now accepting applicants for April 2017.

    Applications for the month of April will be accepted until April 6th, 11:59pm.

    All applicants will be notified on April 7th.

    If you are accepted into the program, there will be a one-time fee of $275 that covers the instructor course and certification fee, and the internship administrative fees.

    Admission Process

    Step 1: Complete the Application

    • Complete this Instructor Internship Program Application

    Step 2: Program Clearance

    • Accepted applicants will be required to provide proof of BLS certification & Heartsaver First Aid + CPR certification.
    • Accepted applicants must have a reliable mode of transportation.

    Step 3: Training

    • Selected applicants must complete the online module for the pre-instructor certification training.
    • Selected applicants will be required to attend the AHA BLS Instructor Certification Course, held the second Sunday of the month.
    • Selected applicants will be required to complete the monitoring shift that follows immediately after the AHA BLS Instructor Certification Course.

    IMPORTANT: If accepted,you will need to be able to drive to and assist in classes taught in the Los Angeles and Orange County area.
