Position Details:
Directly oversee Rooms operation including Front Office, Guest Service, Housekeeping, and Security. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will focus on managing the Rooms operation, maintaining established costs and quality standards. Participate in total hotel management as a member of the Hotel Executive Committee. The AGM participates in creating the financial objectives of the Rooms Operations on an annual basis through the budget process. It is the AGM's responsibility to meet the financial targets set.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with NVN Hotels policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues or concerns. Develop and implement multiple positions and their training plans.
Requirements:
Min. 3 years as a GM of a limited service property, Director of Rooms in a full service operation or combination of both. BA/BS in Hospitality/Restaurant Mgmt. or Business or equivalent experience required. Proven systems knowledge and experience with Operating systems and Payroll systems. Solid understanding of social media and networking. Previous Hilton Brand experience a definite plus!
Must have diplomacy in dealing with difficult situations and people. Must have ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally lift 50 lbs unassisted. The following licenses must be kept current and in good standing during employment: Valid Driver’s License and a clean Driving Record, CPR Certification
