  • Gibney Independent Training Program Application

  • The Gibney Independent Training Program offers flexible and rigorous training for aspiring professional dancers seeking a supportive community of artists in New York City over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. For program details please visit gibneydance.org/programs/professional-training/

     

    Applications are open year-round. You must apply more than 1 month before your desired start date, and more than 2 months in advance if you are also applying for visa sponsorship. Dancers are accepted to start the program every month of the year.

     

    Applicants must submit a $50 Application Fee to be considered. After we receive your application and fee, we will contact you to schedule an interview.

  • Gibney sponsors M-1 Student Visas for International Students studying at Gibney.

     

    The M-1 visa is for nonacademic or vocational studies. M-1 visa holders for technical and vocational programs are not permitted to work during the course of their studies. Therefore, M-1 visa applicants must have evidence that sufficient funds are immediately available to pay all tuition and estimated living expenses for the entire period of intended stay.
