This expression of interest for membership form is to apply to become a member of the South East Queensland UHF Emergency Service Team SEQUEST Inc by filling out and submitting does not mean membership has been accepted.
About SEQUEST
The South East Queensland UHF Emergency Service Team Inc - SEQUEST was formed in August 1st 2009.
Our aim is to provide safety of life communication service to those in the community by providing an effective, community-focused volunteer emergency radio communications service.

As a fully trained volunteer emergency radio operator you will monitor CB & Marine radio and on occasion be summon to help those in need in such cases of accidents, road hazards and other emergencies that may cause suffering and distress in the community. As a volunteer emergency radio operator, you will have direct contact to services such as Queensland Police Service, Queensland Fire Rescue Service, Queensland Ambulance Service, Coastguard & VMR, State Emergency Service (SES), Local Councils & Energex, RACQ and other vital services & agencies.
How we work

SEQUEST is a home-based monitoring group. While other activities may be undertaken at times. Those interested in home-based monitoring of emergency channels should join as an Active membership, whilst those who simply wish to support or do other non-active roles like social media should choose Associate membership.
Type of Membership

Active - As an Active Member you will form the operational section of our organisation. you will be trained in all aspects of radio communications procedure and emergency monitoring techniques providing by SEQUEST to the community. Active members must have their own equipment such as a base station or in vehicle equipment, although if you are in the process of obtaining this equipment you can join before you have it set up. Membership Fee $25Associate - Associate Membership is a non-operational support role. This type of membership is for those that would like to help support SEQUEST but that may not be in a position to play any active role. Associate Members may help out at publicity events,field operations in a non-operational capacity and social media. Membership Fee $10
