"Adopt the Library" Volunteer
This position assists in making the library a clean, safe, welcoming destination for the community.
Circulation Support Volunteer
This position supports HEPL staff to maintain orderliness of the library's collection so the public may readily access desired materials.
This position helps facilitate our ENL (English as a New Language) Conversation Groups. Volunteers will help participants practice speaking English in a relaxed and casual setting. This role maintains a regular schedule ONLY at the Fishers location: Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:00PM or Wednesday mornings from 10:00-11:00AM (starting August 7, 2019).
This position supports larger HEPL events and programs throughout the year. Volunteers may be asked to help with setting up, running an activity, cleaning up, and greeting/directing patrons.
Ignite Studio Volunteer
This position supports the staff of Ignite Studio in providing resources in a safe and welcoming environment for our community of makers.
Indiana Room Volunteer
This position supports the staff of the Indiana Room in making genealogy resources more available to researchers.
Youth Services Volunteer
This position supports the staff of the Youth Services Department in providing quality programming, an organized and easily accessible collection of resources, and a safe and welcoming physical space for children, teens, and their parents, caregivers, and teachers.
