Grants Available for J-Serve 2017
J-Serve is the International Day of Jewish Youth Service. In an effort to empower communities around the world to participate and grow their J-Serve effort, grants are available for J-Serve 2017 - April 2, 2017.
The goal of J-Serve is to highlight the importance of service in the lives of teens and in the Jewish community by creating service projects in which Jewish communities can mobilize across denominational and organizational lines to make a difference in their communities and the world. J-Serve and its partners are committed to the idea that service is an important part of a life-long continuum that engages, maintains, and strengthens teen involvement in Jewish life.
This is a call for every Jewish teen worldwide to make a difference in the lives of others by being a #gamechanger. J-Serve's emphasis this year will be using service as a means to change the game in your community through a global day of Jewish youth service and the participation of key gamechangers in your community. Work with your teen leaders to make an even greater impact by participating in the J-Serve Elected Leaders Challenge and inviting your local congressman/woman to join you in giving back to the local community.
J-Serve 2017 is excited to announce that we are partnering with Good Deeds Day to inspire volunteers across the world this spring! Good Deeds Day is a global movement that unites thousands of group and organizations around the world in doing good deeds for the benefit of others and the planet. This is an incredible opportunity to expand your J-Serve program to include opportunities for your entire community. For more on our partnership, please click here.
