Residents interested in serving as a volunteer on Broomfield’s Housing Advisory Committee are asked to complete this application and submit it to the City Clerk’s office by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018. You may attach extra pages to the application if you need additional space in answering the questions below. You may also attach a resume, if you wish. Applicants will receive a confirmation email with a link to schedule an interview online. Interviews will be conducted as needed on one of the evenings of February 22, February 28, and March 1, 2018, with additional evening interview dates as needed. Official appointments will be made at a public meeting of the City Council on March 13 or March 20, 2018.
Meeting Schedule: The Housing Advisory Committee meets monthly on an evening to be determined at 6 p.m.
Purpose: The Housing Advisory Committee will be responsible to research and summarize for City Council existing housing conditions and housing needs in Broomfield; develop and recommend goals and objectives for the Broomfield Housing Authority, review housing projects brought to the City and advise on ways to create affordable housing options within those projects, and research and advise City Council on other housing opportunities or on other items requested by City Council.
