About Deaf Visual Arts Festival
The Deaf Visual Arts Festival (DVAF) is a day of recognizing and celebrating deaf artists and their artwork. It will be held at the University Center at Webster University. The festival is expected to feature 20-40 artists and is a space where we welcome and introduce the public to the artists.
DEAF, Inc. is a Missouri nonprofit (tax-exempt) organization. All proceeds will go to supporting the festival and funding other art program activities. DVAF is organized and executed by DEAF, Inc. staff and volunteers.
Selected Artist Amenities
- Organized load-in/load-out on the day of the festival
- Free booth
- Free lunch and beverage
- Featured on the DVAF website, DEAF, Inc. Facebook, Twitter & Instagram (great exposure before the art show)
- A volunteer who will monitor the booth during the artist’s presentation (if applicable)
- Artists will keep their own earnings
