Thank you for your interest in utilizing the Department of Fitness and Recreation for your personal fitness needs. We are excited to connect you with one of our student trainers who will provide you with personalized fitness resources to progress you toward your goals.
We have three services to choose from. Please review them below!
Personal Training: For those who want a personalized fitness program and the accountability that comes with one-on-one sessions with a personal trainer or small group training packages that allow groups of two to four people to train together. This service is great for beginners and experienced exercisers alike. These packages vary in duration (30-minutes or 60-minutes) and the number of sessions (5-30 sessions). I understand that my personal training sessions expire 6-months after the purchase date of the package unless written approval has been granted by a member of the FitRec Professional Staff.
Program Development: For those who want a personalized fitness program but don't require one-on-one accountability. This incredible programming opportunity will include an onboarding session where clients will discuss their training experience and goals with a trainer. The trainer will then write the client a four-week training program and assign it to them. Once they receive a program, the trainer will check in with the client to ensure they have received the program and are comfortable with the prescribed exercises.
Fitness Assessment: For those that want a quantifiable way to track their progress throughout an exercise program. During a fitness assessment, a certified personal trainer will calculate body mass index (BMI), body fat percentage, resting heart rate, blood pressure, and body measurements. In addition to these basic tests, patrons will be able to perform other tests that calculate factors such as muscular strength, muscular endurance, or cardiovascular endurance.
