Thank you for your interest in utilizing the Department of Fitness and Recreation for your personal fitness needs. We are excited to connect you with one of our student-trainers who will provide you with personalized fitness resources to progress you toward your goals.
We have three services to choose from. Please review them below!
Personal Training: For those who want a personalized fitness program and the accountability that comes with one-on-one sessions with a personal trainer. This service is great for beginners and experienced exercisers alike. These packages vary in duration (30-minutes or 60-minutes) and the number of sessions (5-30 sessions). We also have small group training packages that allow groups of two to four people to train together.
Exercise Program Development: For those who want a personalized fitness program but don't require one-on-one accountability. This service includes two meetings with a trainer. The first meeting consists of a fitness assessment and discussion about fitness goals. During the second meeting, you will go over a 4-6 week program the trainer has written based on the assessment and goals discussed.
Fitness Assessment: For those that want a quantifiable way to track their progress throughout an exercise program. During a fitness assessment, a certified personal trainer will calculate body mass index (BMI), body fat percentage, resting heart rate, blood pressure, and body measurements. In addition to these basic tests, patrons will be able to perform other tests that calculate factors such as muscular strength, muscular endurance, or cardiovascular endurance.
