
The International Baccalaureate Program is a prestigious international curriculum designed for the highly motivated, well-rounded student. Carrollton High School is now accepting applications for the IB Diploma Program. A committee of IB teachers along with the IB Coordinator will review all applications and determine acceptance.
The International Baccalaureate Program provides highly motivated college-bound students an opportunity to pursue a rigorous liberal-arts curriculum that is recognized by the best colleges and universities throughout the world.
The evaluation criteria for the IB Diploma Program are:
- A completed application
- A completed parent intent form
- Teacher recommendations from four (4) subject area teachers
- A review of student attendance and discipline
- A review of academic performance
- A writing sample may be requested
- An interview with the IB Coordinator may be required for students at the request of the IB acceptance committee
