The purpose of this petition is to show support for increasing the NAU Green Fund Fee from $5 to $25.

Why raise the Green Fund Fee?
1. As students of NAU, it is our responsibility to reduce the negative environmental impacts of our university.
2. To increase funding for projects related to sustainability on the NAU campus.
3. To fund large-scale projects that our administration cannot afford (solar panels, recycling, etc.). We want to fund BIG projects, so the additional $20 will be managed by CoCoSus (a professional administrative body on campus that includes three student members) in conjunction with the Green Fund.
4. As students of NAU, we must show the NAU administration that students care about sustainability. By supporting this fee increase, you are making an important statement to our administration.
5. Raising the Green Fund Fee will empower students to make a long-lasting positive difference on campus. This fee increase will raise student morale by creating a community of sustainable citizens and adding to NAU's Culture of Sustainability.
