On-Campus Students will stay under full counselor supervision at Black Hills State University's Bordeaux residence hall. These state-of-the-art accommodations feature fully air-conditioned, suite-style living* quarters, with a small kitchen and laundry access.
All students will be provided with a meal plan, which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the University dining room.
*Suite-style refers to a double occupancy room sharing a bathroom with an adjoining double occupancy room. Suites and living space will be separated according to students' gender and age.
Commuter/Off-Campus Students are required to participate in all Rushmore Music Festival classes and performances. Daily practicing and classes start at 8AM and end at 6PM Monday-Friday. There are no official classes held on weekends, however, student groups may sign out rooms in the Music Building for rehearsals and practice. It is mandatory for all students, on-campus and commuter to attend all student performances as well as faculty performances held at the university. Commuter students are responsible for their own transportation.
For an additional fee of $110 (to be paid with tuition) Off-Campus/Commuter students may choose to purchase the University lunch plan option available Monday through Friday.
