Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario is proud to present the recreational program GAME ON: Sports and active games for children with neurological conditions. This six week program in London, Ontario runs four times a year. GAME ON helps 4-12 year olds with neurological conditions improve their physical coordination, gross motor skills, posture, balance, self-confidence, and social skills. Participants gain physical literacy skills through fun activities such as dodging, hopping, skipping, jumping, log roll and more.
GAME ON will run Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 12:30 at Knollwood Park P.S. located at 70 Gammage Street, London, ON. The next session begins on Octbe 28th and runs until December (not consecutive weeks). As a volunteer, we ask that you commit to at least 3 camp days.
There will be MANDATORY training for all volunteers, on either October 27th from 2:00-3:00pm at Western University or October 27th from 4-5 on Western University Campus UCC 41.
Every volunteer must provide a vulnerable screening report (police check) before attending Game On. The Centre can provide you with a letter stating that you are an active volunteer. With this letter, the police check will only cost $15.00. We will only accept volunteers who have a clear record check, which has been processed within the last year.
