Chair Positions
Advisor Liaison Chair (1 Aleph or BBG)
The Advisor Liaison Chair will work closely with the Regional Presidents and Staff to expand the depth and breadth of the relationships between Alephs and BBGs and our chapter advisors. This chair will plan surprise-and-delight moments for advisors during conventions, work with chapter boards during Advisor Appreciation Month in March, and strive to create ongoing opportunities for both mentorship and appreciation throughout the year.
Class Chairs (1 senior Aleph + 1 senior BBG, per class)
The Class Chairs will work closely with the Regional S’ganim, Morim, and Staff to create a meaningful experience for members of each class cohort (Grade 8, 9, 10, 11). These chairs will plan Class Programs at each convention, create class swag, and develop initiatives and experiences for their class throughout the year.
Mental Health Task Force Chair (1 Aleph or BBG)
The Mental Health Task Force Chair will work closely with the Regional and Staff to coordinate the work of a new Mental Health Task Force. The task force will review existing programs and services related to mental health and explore potential new solutions in this area. Members of the task force will work together to explore new ideas, give feedback, and mobilize around projects that will be identified by the group.
Seniors Chair (1 non-senior Aleph or BBG)
The Seniors Chair will work closely with the Regional S'ganim, Morim, and Staff to create a meaningful experience for seniors throughout the year. This chair will plan a Seniors Program at each convention, coordinate our Seniors Night in the spring, create swag for the senior class, and develop initiatives and experiences for the senior class throughout the year.
Volunteerism Chair (1 Aleph or BBG)
The Volunteerism Chair will work closely with the Regional Shlichim and Staff to plan and implement a calendar of volunteer opportunities and oversee all hosting elements (such as orientation, hospitality, and volunteer appreciation) for teens who attend these events.
Committees, Task Forces & Teams
Aleph Engagement Task Force
The Aleph Engagement Task Force will work closely with the Regional Aleph Moreh to review existing strategies, explore new ideas, give feedback, and mobilize around projects aimed at advancing engagement, recruitment, and hosting to reach, inspire, and bring more Alephs into Lake Ontario Region.
BBG Sisterhood & Siblinghood Committee
The BBG Sisterhood & Siblinghood Committee will work closely with the Regional N'siah throughout the year to ensure there are welcoming and engaging spaces for all BBGs in our region. Committee members will explore new ideas and initiatives aimed at strengthening connections, enhancing the impact of separates, and innovating programming across the entire BBG experience.

Press Corps Committee
We are looking for Alephs and BBGs with a passion for journalism, photography, videography, graphic design and social media to be part of this year's Press Corps Committee. The Press Corps committee will work closely with the Regional Mazkirim and Staff to capture and share everything that happens in the region. Committee members will create content for our social media platforms, including Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook and Twitter, write posts for our regional blog, and help to create our regional yearbook.
Song Leading Team
Are you someone who loves to sing in front of a crowd? Do you play guitar? Do you always look forward to Havdalah? Do you know the lyrics to most Friendship Circle songs by heart? If you answered yes to ANY of these questions, then the Song Leading Team is perfect for you! As a member of the Song Leading Team, you will have the chance to lead Havdalah, sing at Friendship Circle, teach songs, blessings and prayers, and inspire Alephs and BBGs across the region to deepen their connection to our movement through music!
