Terms and Conditions
When booking any sessions with Shannon Avila Photography and/or Shannon Raposo, your session fee plus HST (13%) is due along with your pre-session questionnaire. Your payment can be made through Email Money Transfer (EMT) or by credit card ($3.00 charge will be added). Your session fee must be paid in full to secure your session date and it is non-refundable. In case your session needs to be rescheduled, your session fee can be used towards another date or another type of session later.
We do our best to keep clients safe, however you are responsible for your own safety and anyone else who is joining you for the session as well as the safety of each child with you. We ask that our clients remain aware of their children throughout our session as to be sure that all children are safe always. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are releasing Shannon Avila Photography and/or Shannon Raposo from all claims and liabilities of any kind in studio as well as on location.
Rescheduling is available and can be granted at my discretion if someone gets sick. Please email me as soon as possible to reschedule. Being a mom of 3, I may also need to reschedule due to sickness, weather or any death in the family. It could happen that your session may need a re-shoot; a re-shoot would mean that ALL the proofs from the first session are deleted and we will shoot an entirely new session.
I do reserve the right to creative privilege. Sometimes an image will need to be retouched a certain way to look its absolute best. I will always do my best to retouch to your satisfaction, but I will need to have the freedom to decide how to make create an image to be its absolute best. As part of your session fee, I will include all basic retouching and image enhancing to the images. Any additional retouching or editing will incur a $75 per hour fee which will be invoiced. Additional retouching can include colouring, tattoo removal, head swapping and more. You will be notified before any charges are added to your total. Some images might have visible digital noise when they’re enlarged. This is normal, but may not be to your style or taste. When an image is cropped in too tightly, you’ll lose resolution and it may cause it to be pixilated when enlarged. If you have any questions regarding printing, please, just ask me. I cannot be responsible for any printing mistakes. We provide high quality printing to our clients so the quality of prints or products not printed by me are not my responsibility.
Included with your high-resolutions digital images USB, I also provide detailed printing instructions. You will find both a “high-res” folder as well as a “proofs” folder and a print release. If you’d like any of the images in black and white format, feel free to ask and I will either send you these conversions via digital download or with enough notice I can add them to your custom USB.
Any design work needed for products such as, but not limited to, albums will begin once your products are ordered and paid for in full within 24 hours of our reveal session. If you don’t respond to design approvals, within 30 days of ordering, I will go ahead and fill the order for you with my own selections. This keeps me from being backlogged and behind on my workflow. If you purchase any products that need design work, I we will sit down together first to get your input on the images and design. You can make small minor changes to the design up to 5 times. Anything more will incur a fee of $75 per hour.
I ask that all my clients keep in mind that you are not allowed to copy or scan any of the images purchased from Shannon Avila Photography and/or Shannon Raposo no matter the reason. If you have purchased a USB with digital images and print release, simply print one from your local print shop or contact me for quality print copies.
By, agreeing to this contract, you give Shannon Avila Photography and/or Shannon Raposo the right to use and publish the images taken by her for display, editorials, portfolio building, marketing and advertising, website and/or to promote Shannon Avila Photography and/or Shannon Raposo. You agree that these images can be used by Love, Captured Photography and/or Shannon Raposo without any more compensation to you or the persons in the images.
All images taken by Shannon Avila Photography and/or Shannon Raposo are protected by copyright laws. Please do not alter, edit, crop in any way, or reproduce to sell.
