Steps to Getting Paid via Uphold

Submit reports: Be sure to submit your invoices & reports on time (as you always should, and to avoid delaying your payment even more)
Wait: Please have patience, as getting paid via Uphold will take time, and you'll need to wait at least 1 additional week to get paid via Uphold (see below) every payment period

Uphold.com Payment Terms & Restrictions
It's very important that every VA read the following terms, conditions, and restrictions for getting paid via Uphold.com. Uphold is an online cryptocurrency and currency exchange platform, which may have very HIGH risks if you choose to use it. One of our existing VAs has written a very useful introduction to Uphold so everyone can learn how it works. Be sure to read it

Introduction to Uphold (Spanish)

Terms & Conditions:
Please read the following VERY carefully.

Virtual Latinos (VL), on payment days (Mondays & Tuesdays) every 2 weeks, would send the total amount of money owed to all the VAs who choose to get paid via Uphold from our bank account to Uphold.com during payment days
The process to get the money into Uphold takes 4-7 business days, which is about 7-12 regular days. Yet, we can't control how fast the funds appear on Uphold, and we can't pay anyone until the funds are available on Uphold.
Once the money/funds are available on our Uphold account, then it will take 1 day for our VL team to process the payment to each individual VA.
This means that VAs will receive their funds at the earliest at least 7 days after the payment period. (So the Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday AFTER our payment period, so about one week late). Yet, this may be delayed by an additional 3-5 more business days, in case the money/funds don't appear on Uhold on time. This means your payment MAY take an additional 1 week to be received, and you may need to wait a total of 2 weeks to get the funds.
You, the VA, must do the research to be 100% sure you want to be paid through Uphold, as VL will NOT be responsible if you don't get your money from Uphold to your bank and/or country, nor any issues you may have with it.
If for some reason you do NOT get your money from Uphold.com, you will lose it, and VL will NOT be able to re-pay you, as we would have already spent the money to pay you.
Any VA who chooses to get paid via Uphold assumes ALL responsibility, and accepts all and any consequences in case your payments do NOT get to you on time, or as fast as you'd like. VL cannot guarantee anything via Uphold, other than ensuring we pay you via Uphold to the email you registered with it.
If you have any issues with Uphold and/or your payment, you'll need to contact them directly and our VL cannot offer you any help.
VL does NOT verify if Uphold works for VAs in any specific country, so it's the VA's responsibility if they can use Uphold to get paid, and then find a way to get their money from Uphold into another form of payment (Cryptocurrency, other currency, etc).
Before you choose to use Uphold, you MUST INVESTIGATE if this platform is the right one for you, and in your country, as there will be NO changes to your payment method unless there are extreme inconveniences or very serious problems with your account.
IMPORTANT: You must be 100% sure that you want to be paid via Uphold.com before you choose it.
