Questions for your family

Before you begin, it's important for you to know that I have experience turning life's simplest details into beauty. Please answer the following questions with thought, honesty and without judgement in what your response will look like in photos.

1. Describe your family tree. (list names and ages of those included in our session):*

2. Why are you looking to have a photo session? What takeaway from our experience together is most important to you?*

3. Do you already have an idea of what memorable experience you would like me to photograph? If so, please describe in detail and include why this is meaningful to you have documented.*

Even if you know what you want to document, please continue and respond to all the questions. If you need help discovering a memorable experience to use for your session, I am here to help. Helping clients plan their session is something I love to do.

4. Please describe your average day as a family. Be as detailed and descriptive as possible. Paint me a picture. (For example, do you wake up and have coffee? Does one person usually make the coffee? What does a whole day in your world look like?)*

5. What are some of your favorite moments you share with your children? (List for each child and each parent)*

6. On a Saturday with no plans, what is your family most likely to do? What would it look like in your home? Are you home-bodies or would you head out? For example, if it's a rainy Saturday, would you find Dad in front of the TV watching football and Mom and the kids crafting together in the dining room? Would the kids be making a fort? Would you head out and do a rainy day activity like bowling, or pottery?*

7. Please list your most favorite or a few of your favorite places you like to go together. Again, be descriptive. I'd love to know why these places ranked as favorites. Don't forget to ask the kids for their opinions too!

8. What are some key events in your family's journey that have led you to where you are today?
