Little Scholars Youth Center of Indy, Inc. (commonly referred to as LSYC of Indy) purpose shall be to teach young people real life skills, empower them to be model citizens within our communities and having a safe place to learn and grow. LSYC of Indy provides out of school learning programs for children ages 5yrs to 15 yrs and family engagement opportunities.
LSYC is a 501 (c) 3 organization that is governed by Board of Directors that will execute the organization's mission. Principally, the Board manages the organizational finances and sets long term priorities for the programs; in addtion to contributing to the educational, management, legal, financial skills needed to ensure long term organizational stability and ensure year to year progression of all LSYC programs.
The Board of Directors has up to 7 voting members for a two-year term.
Executive Director, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Community Members
Board of Directors time and financial consideration are as follows:
Attend quarterly meetings and participate in conference calls (as requested) for program updates;
Participate in assigned committee work generally by zoom meeting or phone as needed;
Annual financial contribution at a level meaningful to you;
Volunteer at special events and fundraising activities
