Explanation of Membership Terms:
1. Letter: You have a letter from your previous church notifying The Mount that you were a member (in good and regular standing), and desire to move your membership from there to The Mount.
2. Profession of Faith: You have never made a commitment to Christ and want to "profess your faith" and be baptized by immersion.
3. Statement: You have already made a commitment to Christ and have been baptized by immersion as a believer.

  You have already made a commitment to Christ, but in another denomination than Baptist and have NOT been baptized by immersion as a believer.
4. Watchcare: You are a temporary resident in the area, and would like to have a church to attend and get involved with while maintaining your home church membership. Temporary workers and college students often find this is the method that suits them.
