All instructors must completely fulfill their judging assignments or duties as assigned by the
audition chairperson or the director will not be permitted to send students to audition the following year.
In the case of an emergency, it is the director’s responsibility to see that a qualified replacement
who is a NAfME member is present at the 8:30 a.m. director’s meeting
and that the audition chairperson has prior knowledge of this situation.
A “qualified” replacement is a NAfME member who also currently teaches the same area of specialization as the sponsoring teacher.
Student Teachers and Parents are not qualified substitutes.

The audition fee is $15.00 per application if postmarked by December 20, 2016. Each application submitted after December 20th and by January 20th will be considered LATE and will require a $15.00 application fee + $10.00 late fee. Any applications which are submitted after January 20th will be voided. It is the responsibility of the director to see that all signatures are acquired and returned on time. Individual applications submitted by students must be verified by the director application.

Please use the following procedure in registering your students:
A. All students must confirm their eligibility with the director. Applications submitted by students without teacher verification will be voided.
B. Students must fill out the online application at www.cjmea.org. Upon completion of the application, students must print out the signature page and submit it to their director with the appropriate fees.
C. Please fill out the online form once you have received all of the applications. ONLINE FORMS SHOULD BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 20, 2016. Any submissions thereafter should include the application fee of $15 plus a $10 late fee.
D. After the online form is submitted, please print out the verification page and mail that with the following:
1. Completed Director Audition Application.
2. Student Signature Pages fully completed with 4 signatures.
3. One check for all of the applications made payable to “CJMEA.”
a. Only checks from a school or director will be accepted.
b. Checks from anyone else will result in the entire packet being returned to the director.
c. NO PURCHASE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
4. A copy of your NAfME card which MUST HAVE A 1/2017 EXPIRATION DATE OR LATER.
