4. CLINICAL PARTICULARS
4.1 Target species
Chickens.
4.2 Indications for use, specifying the target species
For growth promotion in broilers and control of necrotic enteritis in chickens.
For growth promotion and promotion of necrotic enteritis in roasted chickens.
4.3 Contraindications
Do not administer to:
-Animals with a known hypersentivity history to lincomycin.
-Houses, as it produces hemorrhagic colitis and diarrhea with fatal results.
-Animals with known pre-existing infections caused by Monilia spp.
-Rabbits, hamsters and ruminants in general, as it is very toxis and causes severe gastrointestinal disturbances.

4.5 Special precautions for use
Special precautions for use in animals:
Use of the product should be based on susceptibility testing of bacteria isolated from theanimal.When this medicine is used should be based on local (regional or national)
Epidemiological information about susceptibility of the target bacteria.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals
People with known hypersensitivity to lincosamides should avoid contact with the veterinary
Medicinal product.
Administer the product with caution to avoid contact during its incorporation to feed as well as during the administration of medicated feed to the animals. Take the following special precautions:
-Prevent the spread of dust during incorporation of the drug to the feed.
-Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, wash thoroughly with water.
-Use personal protective equipment consisting of dust mask (according to EN 140FFPI),gloves,
Overalls and approved safety glasses when handling the veterinary medicinal product.
-Wash hands after use.
-Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the medication.
4.6 Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction
Do not administer with macrolides.
4.7 Dosage and Administration
Oral incorporated into feed.
-For growth promotion in broilers and control of narcotics enteritis in chicken feed; 2 to 4 g of lincomycin per ton of complete feed.
-For growth promotion and prevention of narcotic enteritis in roasted chicken: 50 to 80 g per ton of feed.
Feed intake depends on the clinical status of the animal and the period of year. To ensure a correct dosage, the concentration of LINCOVALL PREMIX in feed is adjusted based on the daily consumption.
We recommend using the following formula to calculate the amount of premix to be added in the feed:
Kg Premix =Dose (mg/kg body weight) x body weight (kg)/Daily intake (kg) x dose premix (mg/g)
Weight of animals should be determined as accurately as possible to avoid under dosing.
During granulation, it is advisable to maintain a temperature below 70’C.
4.8 Withdrawal time
Meal: 6 days.
Do not use in poultry producing eggs for human consumption.

Shelf-life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale :2 years.
Shelf-life after opening the immediate packaging: 6 months
Shelf-life after incorporation into feed: 3 months.

Do not store above 25’C.
Store in a dry place and protected from light.
6.5. Nature and composition of immediate packaging
Paper bags with inner layers of high density polyethylene. The closure is done by sewing.
Presentation: 25 kg bag.
6.6. Special precautions for the disposal of unused veterinary medicinal product or, if applicable, the waste material resulting from their use.
Any unused product product or waste material should be disposed of in accordance with the local requirements.
