    Michael. S. Turner Scholarship Program 

    2026-2027 Academic Year

  • At NCTA, the NCCEF will award two $2,500 scholarships in honor of Michael S. Turner.

    Ineligible, incomplete, and late applications will not be considered.

    Application deadline for 2026-2027 is April 15, 2026.

    Criteria

    • Must be accepted as a student majoring in Agribusiness or Agricultural Production Systems. 
    • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above (upperclassmen) or have demonstrated academic excellence as determined by NCTA from SAT/ACT scores (freshman). 
    • Be a son/daughter of a parent/legal guardian who has been an active member, director or employee for at least the prior 3 years of a cooperative which has been a member in good standing of the Council for the past 5 years.

    Recipients are selected by a NCTA Scholarship Committee.

    Once chosen, NCCEF will verify co-op membership before announcing the recipients.

    Your application information may be provided to the University of Nebraska Foundation or Donor in order to aid in choosing a recipient, invite you to attend a scholarship meeting/luncheon with the donors of your scholarship or provide more information or promote on your award in their publications. Scholarships may be changed or discontinued by the donor at any time.
