Off The Hook provides a variety of activities on campus, with a strong focus on late night and weekend events. Off The Hook Event Supervisors are employed through the Work and Learning Program. Event Supervisors must be full-time undergraduate students in good standing with the University and maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
Position Description: The Event Supervisor is responsible for planning, marketing for, and hosting quality events brought on a weekly basis by Off The Hook
General Duties: The Event Supervisor manages and oversees event planning for assigned events (including updating event plans, reviewing contracts and addressing related tasks, reserving and confirming spaces and catering, marketing for events (at least two weeks in advance), managing and executing day-of logistics for events, delegating tasks at events, arranging and managing collaborative opportunities with other clubs, updating Off The Hook social media accounts, attending weekly meetings (both individual and staff), and moving in early for the fall and spring semesters (training and event preparation). Event Supervisors are employees of Student Activities and may be asked to assist with University events as needed.
