The Youth Marketplace is a fun, hands-on experience where young entrepreneurs take the spotlight—running their own mini-businesses and selling handmade crafts, treats, games and more. Think of it as a farmer’s market, but with kids as the vendors!
This special marketplace gives youth the opportunity to showcase their creativity, build confidence and learn the basics of running a small business in a supportive, community-centered environment.
Eligible sale items include items designed, baked or created by the youth vendor (local farm and horticultural products, foods, arts and crafts, etc.). No resale items. All sale items subject to approval.
Displaying and Selling Goods: Participants must furnish their own tents, tables, chairs and display arrangements (please reach out if you need help with these items). Prices of all items must be clearly marked and in full view of the customers. All vendors selling prepared foods must pre-register prior to the sale day(s). Food items prepared in uncertified kitchens (legally sold under the “Pickle Law”) must be clearly labeled.
