Most general volunteers wll not be issued this form nor have to adhere to some of the requirements. Be sure you have uploaded your resume with this application.
For those applying for internships, volunteer or staff positions or positions as directors (board of directors) or officers, you will receive or have received Mission statements, purpose, values, supplementary agreements to be signed, such as Membership application, Volunteer application, Staff and Director Agreement, Organizer agreement or Internship Agreement.
Organizers for the Rider-Driver Alliance will receive leadership development training. Sensitivity training for working with persons who are disabled and seniors may also be required unless applicant has had prior training and experience.
You may also upload these signed agreements and any letters of reference if you prefer before you are interviewed. Youth may want to submit letters from parents, teachers or if not in school from church or community leaders or mentors.
Those who have police or prison records are not precluded from applying. Exception: Please do not apply for positions that require you to work with children, women, or persons who have intellectual disabilities if you have been convicted or terminated from other programs for physical or sexual assault or acts of serious verbal abuse to these population groups.
All staff and board required to have email addresses (gmail preferred) or use our private webmail, and required to use cloud storage such as Google Drive with the board or CEO or One Drive (in rare cases) to store and share documents, and know how to access our social media sites on facebook and check or post events.
All members and directors also receive copies of the bylaws by email.
