What makes teacher training at Atma Bodha Yoga so unique?
Studio Membership: 6 months of free, unlimited yoga classes at Atma Bodha Yoga, over a $500 value.
Class Recordings: Students will receive class recordings for the classes that they are required to teach. This makes the process of learning to teach much easier. Many other local teacher trainings do not offer this benefit.
Daily Meditation: Students will receive training in meditation and pranayama. Students will be required to have a daily home meditation practice of at least 15 minutes and meditate in a group setting on each day of the training.
Yogic Dietary Suggestions: Students will receive guidance on how to follow a healthy, safe, and enjoyable vegetarian diet.
Private meetings with your instructor to discuss your personal aims and growth as a teacher and student. Every student is different and we honor that by spending one on one time with each of our students.
Students will be introduced to hands on adjustments and assisting - something that is not covered by most 200 hour teacher trainings.
All required books and materials (including Ayurvedic self-care tools and an Atma Bodha Training manual), a value of $300.
Ability to Register with Yoga Alliance as a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher.
Atma Bodha Yoga and it’s teachers are committed to the spiritual path of yoga. What we teach extends far beyond the physical aspects of yoga practice. Other elements of practicing and teaching you can expect to study are the Bhagavad Gita, the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Raja Yoga, Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Kirtan, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Ayurvedic Practices/Self-care for Yogis, Anatomy and Anatomical difference - including the energetic anatomy of our pranic bodies, and a deeper look at advancing your own personal practices of Pranayama (breath control), Dharana (concentration/single-pointedness of mind) and Dhyana (meditation).
