I understand and agree that this application is not a contract and that acceptance of employment is not a contract of employment for a specified term. I understand and agree that if hired by C2 Management (C2), I will be an at-will employee and may resign my employment at any time for any reason, and that my employment may be terminated at the will of C2 Management at any time for any reason. I also understand that any handbooks, manuals, policies, and procedures maintained by C2 are not contractual in nature and may be amended or abolished at the sole disclosure of C2 at any time.
Further, should I become an employee of C2, I will adhere to C2’s Employee’s Standard of Conduct and will conduct the company’s business in a strictly ethical and legal manner. Furthermore, I acknowledge that C2 is a Drug-Free Workplace and may have to pass a pre-employment drug test. I acknowledge that should I become an employee of C2 I may be randomly drug tested at any time during my employment.
Persons employed by C2 have access to confidential information regarding various phases of company business. Therefore, the company follows the usual practice of requiring new employees at the time of employment to sign an agreement for assignment of inventions and covenant against disclosures. I understand that I must sign such agreement as a condition of employment.
I understand that employment by C2 is contingent on the results of reference and background check, and the data I provide in connection with my application may be transferred to a 3rd party employment screening provider to conduct these services. I authorize C2 to conduct a background inquiry to verify the statements and information on this application, other documentation I have provided, and other areas, which may include, but not limited to, verification of prior employment, education and criminal convictions, I hereby release any institution, entity, individual, agency and C2 from all claims and liabilities that may arise from the disclosure of such information.
Pursuant to the Immigration Reform and Control Act, C2 will employ only those individuals who are eligible to work in the Unites States. Accordingly, upon hiring, all new employees will be required to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the United States. Failure to do so will result in termination or revocation of the offer of employment.
Subject to U.S. Export Control statues and regulations, C2 must be able to ascertain the citizenship of all employees, including dual citizenship. Accordingly, upon hiring, all new employees will be required to present documentation verifying their country (or countries) of citizenship.
