ICLS Language Test Application

ICLS testing services are available to government agencies, companies, and individuals. Proficiency tests are provided to measure Speaking, Listening, and Reading in-person or online (via Zoom). All tests are conducted by qualified testers and are based on ILR skill level descriptions.

Please note that all tests have to be scheduled/conducted during business hours, between 8 am to 5 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Test scheduling can take between 3-5 business days.

In order to maintain objectivity in the testing process, ICLS policy does not allow testing of those who have studied with ICLS within the past 12 months. Please consider either returning to ICLS for testing at a later date or contacting another provider of proficiency testing.

ICLS does not allow reference materials, nor electronic or personal recording devices of any kind in the testing environment. If you are testing in-person, ICLS has a safe place to store your electronic device(s) while you test.*

I understand that my proficiency scores given for the requested test will be only based on the skills exhibited during the test. Examinee indemnifies and holds ICLS harmless for any and all certifications relating to any test results.*

LANGUAGE TEST AGREEMENT The language test will be scheduled once payment is received. You will be contacted within 3-5 days to confirm your language test. In the event ICLS is unable to schedule your test, you will be refunded in full. Once you have been notified of your language test schedule, your confirmation (by email) is expected within 24 hours. In the event that you have to cancel or reschedule prior to the appointment time, a fee of $150 will be charged. You have a 10 minute grace period to show up for the language test at your scheduled time. Failure to show up for the language test will be treated as a late cancellation and the test will be charged in full.*

APPEALS: Appeals to assigned score must be made within 5 days after the test date. In such cases a second rater will assess the testing performance for an additional fee.*
