  • The International Center for Language Studies' foreign language proficiency assessments are available to government agencies, companies, and individuals. Proficiency assessments are provided to measure Speaking, Listening, and Reading either in-person or online (via Zoom). All tests are conducted by qualified testers and assessment results are based on the Interagency Roundtable Skill Level descriptions which can be found here: ILR skill level descriptions.

                  • Please indicate the language to be assessed, along with your preferred test dates and times. The ICLS Testing Team will make every effort to accommodate your request; however, availability on specific dates and times cannot be guaranteed. We greatly appreciate your understanding and flexibility.

                    Upon receipt of your request, the ICLS Testing Manager, Mr. Patrick von Suskil, will confirm acknowledgment and initiate the scheduling process.

                    Kindly note that all assessments are conducted exclusively during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST. Testing is not available on weekends or federal holidays.
