Lifeguard Certification Course
The cost of this course is $300. You will receive an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification valid for 2 years upon completion of all tests and skills.
Course Times and Locations:

The LG Certification course will take place at North Woodland Hills Pool (2159 Fir Springs Drive) and South Woodland Hills Pool (2030 Shadow Rock Dr).

Friday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM @ North Woodland Hills Pool
Saturday: 12:30 PM – 8:00 PM @ North Woodland Hills Pool
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM @ South Woodland Hills Pool (End time may vary based on participant progress and testing completion.)

You must attend all scheduled days and times and successfully pass all skills and tests to receive your certification.
The pre-swim will be a little different than years past. It will consist of 2 swimming assessments:
-A swim-tread-swim sequence: swim 150yds using front crawl (freestyle), breaststroke, or a combination, tread water for two minutes using your legs only, swim 50yds using front crawl (freestyle), breaststroke, or a combination. Swim goggles are allowed for this event.
- A timed event: start in the water and swim 20yds to the brick, surface dive down and retrieve the brick from 8ft, return to the surface and swim 20yds on your back keeping the brick close to the surface of the water. Swim goggles are not allowed for this event.
