Filmmaking Best Practices
Shorter is better. We advise a video to be in the 1-3 minute range depending on the purpose of the video. If you don't think your story can be told in that range of time, talk with us to see how we can help.
Show, don't tell. Think to yourself, "Why should my audience watch this story instead of reading it? What is it about this story that can only be communicated through video?
Good things to know
The timeline for a video is a minimum of two to three weeks depending on the length of the video and project due date. If you only require editing or only require filming (or both), we require a minimum notice of one week before the event or due date.
Knowing how to tell your story is important, so please include us early in the brainstorming phase to make sure all bases are being covered.
You will be contacted by the Marketing Department within 24-48 hours after submission to schedule a meeting to discuss the goals and specifics of your video request.
