Junior Achievement Ambassador Program Parent/Guardian Consent
The mission of Junior Achievement's Ambassador Program is to enable students to increase their work-readiness, entrepreneurial and financial literacy skills. The program provides a vehicle for young people to become involved in Junior Achievement and their community, while becoming more civicly engaged and enhancing their leadership skills.
Students will act as an ambassador or spokesperson of Junior Achievement at various events and activities. All the while, they will participate in a robust leadership program involving public speaking, networking and professional mentors, college preparation and career success training, and overall professional and leadership training skills.
IN ORDER TO ENSURE A MEANINGFUL AND SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY OF OUR JA AMBASSADOR PROGRAM, STUDENTS MUST ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING:
Attend and have reliable transportation to and from mandatory monthly meetings and training sessions
Maintain a 2.5 GPA while in the program
Check e-mails regularly as JA will be frequently sending calendars and important information
Act professionally as students will be engaging with our board members, donors, and business professionals across San Diego County
Be commited to the program mission and guidelines
