Housing Conditions
Workshop housing is funded through a federal grant received from the U.S. Department of Education, and is available for a limited number of participants.
We will make a reservation in your name at a boutique hotel near the UT campus (The Quarters at Hardin House, the facility used for last year's workshop). This is a full service, independent institution that operates separately from UT, and will be operating under contract with us to provide housing for participants.
We are charged for one night's accommodations for any participant who either does not show or fails to check in on the agreed upon date.
All participants who request housing will be required to sign a housing agreement that includes a credit card number, which will be sent in early April.
Your credit card will be charged UNLESS you notify us prior to May 30, 2017 that you will not be attending the workshop, or that you need to alter your hotel stay to check in on a later date (under our contract, both are considered "no-shows"). In case of no-show, your card will be charged for the first/missed night's stay ($80 plus applicable city accommodations tax).
