In this program, you will learn how to use a camera, how to use light, how to find your vision, how to use your voice to tell a story and more. This will be done through group and one-on-one instruction in a professional photography studio. You will get to meet some of the leaders working in the visual industry; photographers, gallery owners, photo editors at major magazines, newspapers and online, art directors at ad agencies, bookmakers, all there to help you that day and in the future.
You will develop a professional portfolio that you can use for college admissions and professional opportunities. Your work will be displayed at the end of the year in our Annual Photography Exhibition at a public venue attended by leading industry professionals and your family.
This is a multi-year program that we hope you will take advantage of over several years. As your skill becomes more advanced work opportunities will present themselves.
