Details / Roles:
Great Networking, Free Parking and Entry, Awesome T-shirt, Good Karma, and Food!
One day only, so we need your help. Volunteers will get a sneak peek of the work being exhibited, meet and assist fair exhibitors, help unpack art, handle dollies, and distribute tables and chairs.
Our fairs are attended by collectors, designers, and leaders in the art world. Greeters are needed inside the entrance gates and/or box office to welcome guests, help them find specific exhibitors, distribute maps and fair guides and provide general directions for program schedules.
Volunteers at the box office will become familiar with Eventbrite and will distribute VIP passes, check in guests and facilitate the sale of tickets, as well as hand out fair guides. The box office will have a direct line to Fair staff, should guests have specific questions about the fair, and artist, or a sale.
Have a unique opportunity to support and get to know our artists/exhibitors. Volunteers will monitor an exhibitor"s booth while the artist or gallerist takes a short 15-30 minute break during the day. In some cases, these breaks may extend to an hour or more as some of our exhibitors wish to attend some programs. Volunteers will not be asked to handle any money or transactions while the artist or gallerist is away from their booth. Volunteers will also assist with various other duties including roaming the site to assist exhibitors and other duties as identified by fair management.
Program Usher/ Greeter:
We have a lot of great programming lined up for this year"s event. Volunteers will work with the Program Coordinator to direct, greet and usher guests into the auditorium and assist with distributing programs.
What goes up must come down! Volunteers will work with artists and exhibitors to help pack and load art and direct artists to shipping services.
