Greetings! The Delta County Fair Board is once again planning a great Fair Parade for 2017 and you are invited to join in on the fun!
There is no entry fee for the fair parade! Awards are given for each category shown below. Entries must be received by 5:00 pm on Thursday, August 9th, 2018 to be judged for Best Theme and Individual category prizes. Online entries will close at this time to allow parade officials time to compile entries.
To receive entry numbers and parade line-up information, check in with parade officials between 7:30 am and 9:00 am at the southern corner of West Bridge Street and Cedar Drive in Hotchkiss on the morning of Saturday, August 12th.
Parade entry forms will be accepted until 9:00 am on Saturday, August 11th at the check-in booth. Entries received on the day of the parade though will not be judged. If entering after 5 pm on Thursday, participants will have to fill out the paper form in the back of the 2017 Fair Book.
Please have all entries except horse entries in place by 8:00 am and all horse/livestock entries must be in position at 9:00 am!
The following awards will be given at the 2018 Fair Parade:
Best Theme - $100 & Plaque
1st Place: Blue Ribbon & $25 Cash or Gift Certificate
2nd Place: Red Ribbon & $15 Cash or Gift Certificate
3rd Place: White Ribbon & $10 Cash or Gift Certificate
Parade awards will be announced prior to the Junior Market Livestock Sale at the Events Center on the Fairgrounds starting at 1:30 pm. Awards can be picked up between 2 and 3 pm at the Livestock Office. Any award not picked up by 3pm will be forfeited!
