The Wellness Council of Wisconsin (WCWI) is now accepting nominations for the 2019 Light of Wellness Awards!
The Light of Wellness Awards give WCWI's members the opportunity to showcase the extraordinary impact of their employee wellness strategies. The awards recognize employees who have experienced significant impact in their personal wellness, leaders committed to wellness, and employees who are celebrating a new wellness journey.
WCWI recognizes award winners across three categories:
Reflection Award: celebrates the positive impact that an employee has experienced in their own wellness through the support of their employer’s wellness strategy. A Reflection Award winner may have a story of how they were deeply impacted and supported in making a lasting lifestyle change and as a result, embodies someone who took the skills learned through their employer wellbeing initiative and translated them to their home, family and/or community.
Ignite Award: celebrates a committed leader who has a clear passion for driving the wellness value story at their organization. This individual is a senior-level leader who is influential in creating and supporting the wellness strategy, inspires others to join the wellness movement, is a role model, and demonstrates ongoing commitment to the culture of wellness at the organization. An Ignite Award winner is a member of the organization’s leadership team and plays a key role in advancing wellness as a top strategic priority for their organization.
Rising Light Award: celebrates the wellness journey and honors an employee who is using the support of their organization’s wellness strategy to begin to focus on their own wellbeing. A Rising Light Award winner may have a story of how they were empowered to care for their own wellbeing in a more focused way or experienced a newfound support through the resources or programs their employer offers.
Nomination Review Process: The deadline for nominations is July 29, 2019. Nomination forms will be reviewed by industry and community leaders and WCWI's Board of Directors.
