DATE AND LOCATION: March 31, 2017 at the Roanoke Higher Education Center in Roanoke, Virginia
TIME: 9:00am–1:00pm (Registration and refreshments beginning at 8:30)
TARGET AUDIENCE: Leadership teams of 3-4 people, including AT specialists, general and special education teachers, administrators, SLPs, OTs, PTs, vision and hearing specialists, ITRTs, and/or other individuals with knowledge of assistive technology
INFORMATION: The Assistive Technology Network meeting is an opportunity for leaders in AT to come together and share their experience and knowledge of AT to support students with disabilities. Divisions are encouraged to designate teams who will consistently attend meetings twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring, and have the ability to take information back to their divisions to provide professional development. The goal of the AT Network is to build capacity within divisions in the area of assistive technology in order to support the learning of students with disabilities.
