  • Food Vendor Application

    We would like to invite your company to join us for our BLACKtie Alumni Weekend Family Festival on Saturday, June 2, 2018.  This festival will take place at Island MetroPark located at 101 E. Helena St.,  Dayton, OH 45404 from 12pm to 5pm.  This family-friendly event will be jam packed with fun activities for all ages.  Based on last year's ticket sales, we expect hundreds of alumni from all over the country to attend this event.  With the addition of families and friends of the alumni that will be in attendance, the number of attendees may reach well over 1,000 people.


        This event offers a great opportunity to showcase the culinary talent of Dayton and the surrounding areas.  If you're interested in being apart of this exciting occassion, we'd love to hear from you.
    • BOOTH TYPES 
    • We are currently accepting applications for the following types of food vendors:

      Booths:  Ample space will be provided based on the vendor's needs.  Multiple spaces are available.  Power and water must be provided by the vendor.

      Mobile Unit Spaces:  Self-contained vehicles or trailers that provide their own power and water systems.

      Carts:  May sell pre-packaged, non-perishable items or cooked items.

    • RATES 
    • The rate for each space for all food vendor types varies according to the date the Vendor Application is submitted.  Rates are as follows:

          Applications submitted through April 1st: $75.00
          Applications submitted after April 1st: $100.00

    • FOOD & BEVERAGE TIPS 
    • For this event, we are looking for a diverse array of interesting and delicious food items, all available at reasonable prices.  Many attendees have inquired about vegetarian options, so we encourage you to be creative in your menu offerings.  Please consider your pricing carefully and try to keep your items under $10 for any single item.  We also suggest that you offer meal specials priced between $5-$7 if possible.  

      Due to the rules and regulations of the park, we ask that alcohol is not included as a sale item.  Beverages dispensed in glass bottles are not permitted.

      Please note: No open flame is permitted under the pavillion structure.

    • REQUIREMENTS

      All food vendors are required to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance.  The following items are required in each certificate:

      1. All policies referenced on the certificate must be active and in force at the time of festival.

      2. Certificate Holder must read: BLACKtie Alumni Weekend, 2312 Far Hills Ave, Suite 162, Dayton, OH  45419

      3. All policies referenced on the certificate, except Workers Compensation, must include BLACKtie Alumni Weekend as an Additional Insured.

      4. All policies referenced on the certificate must provide a Waiver of Subrogation granted in favor of BLACKtie Alumni Weekend.

       All Certificates must be provided by May 26, 2018
