Upcoming Sessions
Community Outreach sessions are get-togethers where members work collaboratively on charity projects, including preemie and baby quilts and pillowcases, for local hospitals and other care-giving organizations.
Participants bring basic supplies—sewing machine, extension cord, cutting mat, rotary cutter, rulers, safety pins and the like. The Community Outreach committee provides everything else: quilt and pillowcase kits, pieced tops to baste and quilt, quilt tops to bind.
These meet-ups usually take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the San Francisco Police Academy. Visit http://www.sfquiltersguild.org/community.php for more details.
