Tech-A-Potamus, LLC does not collect any personally identifiable information about you.
We no longer use third-party advertising or tracking software in PeTalk. Through Apple and Amazon's built-in App Analytics platforms, we do have access to aggregated data about our users' country, device, OS version, how they found our app, and app crash data. Because it's aggregrated, we have no way of knowing who you are. We have no interest in making money off of your information-- our source of revenue is from donations in the app.
What do you use the App Analytics data for?
We use the data to analyze the traffic and usage of PeTalk. That's it.
How can I opt out?
Easy: On iOS, go to Settings > Privacy > Analytics & Improvements, then turn off Share With App Developers. If you don't see Share With App Developers, it's already off. This also works for any paired watchOS devices.
On Mac, go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Analytics & Improvements, then turn off Share With App Developers.
Note that turning off this setting this will also affect other apps that use the same platform. It is not currently possible to disable Amazon's aggregated data collection.
