Now let's get started. It's a long form but you should be able to save as you go and come back to it.

    TROUBLESHOOTING THE FORM

We do need forms to cope with the amount of admin and enquiries we receive but sometimes people have trouble with them.

If you have a problem you should have an automatically saved copy you can refer to.

First check for any highlighted sections you might have missed

Then check the attachment boxes - unhelpfully these are not highlighted when you forget something.

If your pics/scans are too large please send low-res versions. Google "How to Resize a Photo" if you have problems or try this app. Alternatively attach any small image, logo or photo and email the images separately to bathartisanmarket@gmail.com.

The form is not very compatible with iPads so try another computer if you are having trouble and are using one.

    Good luck!

    • ABOUT US, BENEFITS OF TRADING WITH US & PLANS FOR 2017
    • 1. ABOUT US

Congratulations on joining the Bath Artisan Market, we're looking forward to seeing you and hope you will have a profitable and inspirational experience with us.

The market was established in 2012 at Green Park Station, Bath, on a very small budget by Catherine Stokes and is still run by her today. After selling vintage china at markets, she and her husband Jai noticed that at that time that there weren't many opportunities for new or second business owners to sell their work/products at an affordable price in Bath. She still runs the market on a part-time basis and has a small part-time team and the Bath Artisan Market is now a well-established part of the Bath retail scene.

      2. WHY US?

      • Established market with good reputation and awareness in Bath and surrounds
      • Supportive, thriving community of traders
      • Strong social media following on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram.
      • Community Facebook group for traders who share tips, advice and laughs
      • Affordable pitch prices
      • Traders encouraged to engage with public to grow our reputation for friendlines, great service and knowledge
      • Application process results in high standard of sellers
      • Small independent operation which understands traders' needs
      • Our Green Park Markets are ideal for local, part-time and new traders as well as those who want to invest in building a regular client base.

Our Queen Square markets are ideal for those who want to be in front of tourists and who are used to selling outside. We hope that Bath locals will also come to use this new location regularly too.

      3. WHAT'S COMING UP 2017

In August 2016 The Bath Artisan Market trialled running the market at Queen Square rather than Green Park Station to give the brand a refresh and also reach tourists, who are the artisan's natural customer, as visitors tend to want to buy gifts and souvenirs of Bath - and what better present to pick up than something handmade/designed from the local area. So this year the Bath Artisan Market is moving to Queen Square to the last Sunday of the month from March - October and for a one-off in November. The Bath Christmas Market are using it in December.

But Green Park Station is a fantastic venue that draws lots of devoted locals and its heritage roof (it's a former railway station) is invaluable in winter. The venue has a busy flow of people wallking to and from the city centre (it's an 8 minute walk to the Abbey), is overlooked by student accommodation and has a number of independent businesses from a vinyl store to juice and salad bar to a brasserie, independent wine shop and florist. So for 2017 the Bath Artisan Market is keeping its second Sunday of the month there but remarketing the event as a Brunch Market, providing brunch and lunch options alongside artisan, vintage & art traders & local food producers.

We are no longer running on the 3rd Sunday of the month except for 17th December 2017.

  • Green Park Station Brunch Market

    Green Park Station Brunch Market

2nd Sunday of every month, 9.30am-3.30pm
    • Intro and Location Details (click to expand or shrink section)
    • Britons spend over £73 million a year on eating out for breakfast and it's one of the fastest growing food trends for millenials, who see it as a more affordable eating out option.

Our 2nd Sunday of the month market will still focus on high-quality artisan, vintage, art and food sellers but will also feature food traders providing brunch options and tables and chairs set for the occassion. After 6 years at Green Park it's time to freshen up the marketing and by moving the main Bath Artisan Market to Queen Square, we're able to reconnect with the public and tell them some fresh news!

We will still be focussing on the very creative nature of our traders and where appropriate, will run themed events. But we are hoping that providing a consistently high offering for breakfast that we will become established as THE hangout for Sunday morning. We have also noticed that the venue's busiest time is up to lunch so we want to capitalise on that which is why we have moved the times half an hour earlier.

    • LOCATION NOTES

If you have never been to Green Park before, here are some insights into how the venue works.

      • Green Park Station is 8 minutes' walk from the Abbey and is a self-contained venue with indepedent shops and cafes and provides a busy cut-through to and from the city to Sainsbury's and DIY stores and hotels.
      • Student and residential accommodation overlooks and is adjacent to the site. Hotels are nearby.
      • Green Park Station's official address is Green Park Road, Bath BA1 1JB but the drive-in entrance is through Sainsbury's car park via 13 Victoria Bridge Road Green Park Station Bath BA2 3EH
      • The venue is a former railway station with a heritage glass roof that dominates the setting. The framework still maintains a vintage feel and venue is open at one end, so it can be draughty in winter, but you are not as exposed to the elements as you would be in a totally outdoor venue.
      • You don't need a gazebo unless you are a hot food trader as pigeons do fly around the rafters. But gazebo roofs do add interest to the layout of the market. We can only fit them on the main square, however.
      • No tables or chairs are provided. Tented stalls come with lighting, small tabletops and rooves.
      • Our market website is www.bathartisanmarket.com
      • The website for the venue is www.greenparkstation.co.uk
      • We only run the second Sunday of the month and the Christmas Artisan  Markets at this venue.
      • We are not offering any parking at Homebase any more but there is limited free parking outside Crown Paints next to Homebase and we believe there is free parking at Homebase until September 2017.

    • About us, the Bath Artisan Market at Queen Square and the location (click to expand or shrink section)
    •  1. ABOUT THE MARKET

Congratulations on joining the Bath Artisan Market, we're looking forward to seeing you and hope you will have a profitable and inspirational experience with us.

The Bath Artisan Market was established in 2012 at Green Park Station, Bath, on a very small budget by Catherine Stokes and is still run by her today - and still on a small budget. After selling vintage china at markets, she noticed that at that time that there weren't many opportunities for new or second business owners to sell their work/products at an affordable price in Bath. She still runs the market on a part-time basis and has a small part-time team and the Bath Artisan Market is now a well-established part of the Bath retail scene.

In August 2016 the team decided that while it had built up a solid local customer base, it was time for the Bath Artisan Market to reach more tourists by moving nearer to them in location, so we held two very successful markets in Queen Square. Lots of tourists only have a couple of hours in the centre if they come on coach trips and never have time to get to Green Park despite it only being 8 minutes away. But Queen Square is a leafy park situated near the Francis Hotel, Jane Austen Centre and Milsom Street so is more visible, especially as tourist buses drive around the square.

This year we are moving our main market, Bath Artisan Market to Queen Square on the last Sunday of the month.

      2. WHY US?

      • Established market with good reputation and awareness in Bath and surrounds
      • Supportive, thriving community of traders
Strong social media following on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram.
      • Community Facebook group for traders who share tips, advice and laughs
      • Affordable pitch prices
      • Traders encouraged to engage with public to grow our reputation for friendlines, great service and knowledge
      • Application process results in high standard of sellers

Our Queen Square markets are ideal for those who want to be in front of tourists and who are used to selling outside. We hope that Bath locals will also come to use this new location regularly too.

      3. WHAT WE EXPECT & CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are filling in this form, then we have accepted you to trade and are looking forward to meeting you.

Once you submit this form to us, we will assume you will honour the dates you asked for. We will invoice you for them in the way you asked for and expect payment by the balance due date. We will apply any relevant discounts.

We are a small business and would ask you to think about treating us the way you would like to be treated by customers. This means respecting our cancellation policy.

If you book dates and are invoiced, we expect you to pay the invoice and commit to the dates. If you are unable to attend and you have paid then we retain 50% of the cancellation fee. If you cancel 7 days or fewer before the market date, there are no refunds offered, except at our discretion.

If you book dates but then don't pay, we will try to contact you but then in all likelihood cancel your booking

Also, we charge very little to offer you a space to trade in central Bath with a commitment of only one day. You must take responsibility for your own sales - you cannot reasonably expect us to also create those for you.

      4. LOCATION DETAILS

      • The location address is Queen Square, Bath, BA1
      • It is a leafy park in the middle of a Georgian Square, surrounded by the Francis Hotels, offices and some residential buildings. It is really near the Jane Austen Museum and Milsom Street. Tourist buses drive around the square so the market will be very visible.
      • It is entirely outdoors so traders are welcome to bring their own gazebos, which need to be properly weighted and a risk assessment submitted. We do have room under our gazebos for 24 traders who bring their own trestle tables too. We also have some small starter stalls for which we provide tables, but no cover.
      • There is no parking available although we have suspended one bay at the front for loading/unloading, so when you book we will send you a separate form for your car reg number for the setting up/pack down process. There is free parking in nearby residential streets or paid-for parking in Charlotte Street Car park (5 minute walk)
      • There will be food and drink traders on site
      • We won't initially be providing toilets but you can use toilets in surrounding bars and hotels (although we have no formal agreement with them).
      • We need to take all rubbish at the end and so we ask that all traders be responsible for their own litter to help us with the clear up process.
      • There is no electricity hook up for anyone other than hot food traders although we will provide LED lights in our covered gazebos.
