As a member of the Lake Lavon Camp Family, you are representing a ministry dedicated to Christ. Everything you do should reflect and glorify Him. Your conduct, clothes, music, language, and attitude must be above reproach.
1. The use of alcohol, drugs, and tobacco is forbidden. This includes off campus as you are representing LLCCC.
2. Movies and games are allowed in the designated common area and should be appropriate for all audiences.
3. Staff will not be in the cabin/room of members of the opposite sex at any time for any reason. Violation of this rule can result in immediate termination.
4. Dating/romantic relationships are not to take place during the summer. Your service here should be focused on the ministry and your spiritual growth.
5. Only full-time staff are to stay overnight. Any others (part time, guests, etc.) must have prior authorization.
6. Respect all camp property- we are called to be faithful stewards of all God's property.
7. No supplies, food, or drink are to be taken from the dining hall without permission of the Food Service Director.
8. Firearms and fireworks are prohibited. This includes, B.B., pellet, paint ball, air-soft guns, etc.
9. Personal vehicles will remain parked while camps are in progress, unless specific permission is given.
10. Camp speed limit is 11 MPH. Anyone not adhering to the speed limit or driving responsibly will be prohibited from driving on camp property.
11. Only authorized personnel with a valid driver’s license are allowed to operate camp vehicles with permission from a full time staff member. This includes golf carts.
12. SMTs should have authorization from their supervisor before leaving camp at any time.
13. SMTs will have a 12:00am curfew (in cabins/rooms at 11pm). We need you rested and focused on your responsibilities. Arrangements will be made for any scheduled late activities.
14. All clothing should be of a modest nature. Shorts should be "fingertip" length.
15. Closed toe shoes must be worn at all times. Lifeguarding is the only exception.
16. Work schedules and responsibilities can only be changed by your supervisor.
17. Do not use electronic devices while on duty (cellphones, etc.).
18. Swimming or other activities after hours must be approved by a supervisor and all safety rules must be enforced.
19. We ask that your appearance remain conservative in nature so as to not distract our campers. Any visible tattoos must be reviewed and approved by management.
20. You will participate in daily devotions and activities that build us up spiritually.
21. No guests unless they are immediate family members with prior approval.
23. SMTs living quarters will be subject to regular inspections and held responsible for any repairs that are required as a result of misuse or negligence.
