Identifying your Value Proposition
No matter how narrowly you define your market segment it is very rare that you will have it all to yourself.
To be successful you will need to develop your own unique value proposition. Fail to do this and the only differentiator is the price.
Competing on price is always a race to the bottom and should be avoided at all costs.
If you're a custom builder your value proposition should be about much more than the house and could include design skills, speed of construction, being easy to deal with, after sale service, etc.
Try and put yourself in your client's shoes, what is important to them.
You do not need to answer every question, but the more you give us to work with the better.
