  • Fostering is very important to our organization. In fact, it is the backbone of our organization.  Without committed fosters, these rescued Labradors would have nowhere to go and their future would be very uncertain.

    As rescues, these dogs have experienced upheaval and change; both can be very upsetting to a dog's spirit.  It is critical to the long-term well-being and safety of these dogs to be placed in a foster home that can provide the routine as well as the mental and physical support they need while waiting for their forever homes.  This is where you come in!

    To ensure the best foster home is matched to each dog, LELRR asks for the following information.  We appreciate your interest in fostering for this wonderful breed as well as your willingness to provide the information below.

    We will be contacting your vet to verify that any current pets in the home have been kept up to date on vaccines, heartworm testing and prevention, etc. Please notify them that we will be calling and that it is ok to release your information.:

    Please contact your references to let them know that you have listed them - so they will be expecting a call from a # they are unfamiliar with. It slows down the process when we have difficulty getting in touch with the references.
