AUDITION SUBMISSION DEADLINE: On or before June 30.
FINALISTS: SFGT Selection Committee will select 10-12 “ACTS” to perform at the City Park Stage on Wednesday, July 23, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
PERFORMANCE TIME LIMIT: All performance audition submissions and live performances may not exceed five minutes.
JUDGING: Will be done by a panel of three judges.
AGES AND TALENT TYPE: Ages 5 and up may compete in any talent – vocalists, musicians, jugglers, magicians, comedians, poets, vocal ensembles (not more than six singers), acoustic instrumental ensembles (not more than four members) and dance groups (no more than twelve participants). All performances MUST be clean and appropriate for all ages.
REGISTRATION & WAIVER: All entrants, participants and spectators release Spanish Fork City, Fiesta Days and all show sponsors/ participants from any and all damages, injuries, losses or claims suffered by entrant to his/ her person and/ or property. Attendance and participation at the event is at the entrants’ own risk.
VIDEO & PHOTOGRAPHY NOTICE: Spanish Fork City records all city events and broadcasts them on Spanish Fork 17, Spanish Fork YouTube, and city social media pages. Spanish Fork City also takes photographs at each event and uses them for promoting and advertising. By registering for events, you understand and consent to your image and sound being included in video, audio, or photography taken by Spanish Fork City and that such video, audio, or photography may be published on television, YouTube, and social media.
SUBMISSION RESULTS: You will be notified around July 7, if you are chosen as a finalist. Once you have been notified, you have seven (7) days to send your technical needs and your sound track (if applicable) electronically to sfgottalent@spanishfork.gov. If you fail to submit your information on time, your entry may be rejected and another contestant may be assigned to your spot.
FINALISTS: If you are selected to be a finalist, you must be available to perform in the SPANISH FORK’S GOT TALENT FINAL SHOWCASE on Wednesday, July 23 on the City Park Stage, beginning at 7:30 p.m. (Note – the stage is 20 feet x 40 feet with the ceiling height of 12 feet and the surface is cement with a marley dance surface).
JUDGING CRITERIA: You will be judged on these categories: Talent, Performance, Appearance, and Audience Rapport. 1st Place Winner will receive $300; 2nd Place Winner, $200; and 3rd Place Winner, $100.
Please bring your own beverages to keep hydrated while performing or waiting for your turn to perform. Vendors are available to purchase food and beverages if needed.
